Solution In 2003, a survey was done in the local area of neighborhood HOA fees. Out of the 28 neighborhoods surveyed, the average full membership dues was $464.08/yr - and that included neighborhoods that do NOT have pool/tennis courts. 15 of those neighborhoods had dues at $400 or over. Only 3 (including Ruby Forest) out of the 28 were non-mandatory.
