The new, much-anticipted playground area is located beside the front tennis courts, near the clubhouse.
This sports/play complex consists of a: -Regulation (high school level) volleyball court (bring your own volleyball, beach ball, or play ball)
-Multi story kid's Play Fort with 2 slides
-Six unit big kid's swing set
-Toddler bucket swing
-Infant bucket swing
-Two child glider swing
-2 trapezes
-Parallel Bar set
The lighting is automatic and will come on at dusk and go off at 11pm (to match the tennis courts hours) So if you are playing tennis in the evenings, your kids can enjoy their time in a safe, fenced in playground. The Ruby Forest Board along with Naomi Wilson would also like you to know that this park is being dedicated to Bill Wilson. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, a neighbor, a RFHA member, and friend to those of us in RubyForest. We lost Bill last year to cancer so we though that dedicating this outdoor playground, with all of the fun and energy it creates, was a very fitting tribute to him. So come and enjoy.
