Thanks For Another Ruby Forest Feast!
Everyone had a great time on Saturday night at the 2nd "Ruby Forest
Feast" event. This time it was a Cajun Crab and Shrimp
Boil. RFHA Master Chef Phil Manzi presided over the kitchen and
back porch boilers and created quite a delictable dinner. With 7
five gallon pots boiling on the back deck, Phil started with asparagus,
potatos, onions, lemons, and artichokes plunged into the Old Bay
broth. After those cooked down, he added the Shrimp and then
later the Blue Crab. There was macaroni and fried chicken strips
for the non-seafood types. Amy Doherty of the Events Committee
organized the dinner and did a great job bringing it all
together. The President and Treasurer (Ed and Shane) were
assigned the lofty positions of floor mopping detail and pot scrubber.
We truly enjoyed the having everyone out and hope to see all of you at the next one of these popular events.

What a great food spread!
